The relief record becomes
visible due to phase
modulation conversion into gray scale at the perception unit.
Ready for manufacturing an electro-optical light modulator
"Relief" of the third generation has the unique
parameters:
- the relief information record time - from 1uS;
- the relief information erasing time - from 1uS;
- input data interface - 5V;
- the light absorption by the media is negligible low;
- the light diffusion by the media is negligible low;
- working temperature range - from -25OC to +80OC;
- experimentally achieved efficiency - 95% (theoretically - up to 100%);
- resolution - up to 100 lines/mm (theoretically - up to 2000 lines/mm);
- number of pixels per line - 128...2048;
- power of modulated luminous flux - up to 100W.
The light modulator "Relief" can control weak and high
power luminous flux from laser and thermal sources due to the phase type
of light modulation by the relief transparent carrier which does not absorb
the light passing through it.
Another advantage is that the polarization of light is not required.
